Emma Mayo

Emma holds the Early Years Professional Status (Level 6) qualification to compliment her BEd (Hons) degree, and has worked with children for many years. Before setting up Bunnies Pre-School she worked in a Day Nursery in Banstead, during which time she worked closely with Special Needs. Emma’s career history prior to taking time out raising her two girls, involved Secondary School Teaching, as well as creating and running a successful catering business.

Emma is a lively and energetic individual who has a passion for working with children, helping them learn and develop whilst having fun and enjoying themselves at the same time.

Lisa Taylor

Deputy Manager & Early Years Practitioner

Lisa holds a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing (Level 3) and has 20 years experience of working with children in a variety of settings. Lisa has previously worked both as a private Nanny and for local Pre-Schools. Lisa is a proud mother of two energetic boys and her infectious enthusiasm and energy is channelled into everything she does, helping children to learn essential skills needed, as well as having fun and building caring relationships.

Lisa has been with Bunnies from the start, and along with Emma runs Muddy Bunnies Forest School in the copse at the rear of the setting on Wednesday afternoons.

Sara Letts

Early Years Practitioner

Sara holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, a Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce, and has lots of experience of children as she has also worked at Warren Mead Infant School, helping with lunchtime supervision, and has been involved with the guides. She is a mum of two girls herself, and enjoys a busy personal life. Sara has a bubbly and happy personality, and enjoys being silly with the children injecting lots of fun into activities and games. She has trained in art, displaying natural flair, and enjoys encouraging this in the children, helping them to experiment and express themselves through this medium. Sara also supports children out at Forest school.

Vicky Martin

Early Years Practitioner

Vicky holds a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education qualification. She has previously worked at a Day Nursery in Banstead, and joined us in September 2015 to specialise more in Pre-School aged children. Vicky has a caring and happy nature, and is enthusiastic about her work and the children’s development. She particularly enjoys encouraging creativity, as well as observing the development of personalities and humour of the children. Vicky enjoys trying new things with the children, and helping them with having the confidence to try. Vicky also supports children out at Forest school.

Jenny Neilson

Jenny holds a Level 3 City and Guilds Diploma for Children and Young people’s workforce qualification. She joined us from a day nursery in Wallington, and has been with us since Sept 2017. Jenny is happy and enthusiastic, and likes to inject fun into activities and play. She has spent time gaining and using her level 2 Elkan Speech and Language support qualification with under 5’s, to assist speech development. Jenny enjoys, and has been building on her experience of supporting children with additional needs. Jenny regularly supports our Forest school.

Lisa Elliott

Early Years Assistant

Lisa works on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings for us, and enjoys working with children. A mum of two growing girls herself, she is up to date with current children’s interests, and has a cheerful and caring character. Lisa has been with us since September 2015, she enjoys building caring and secure relationships with the children she works with and supports. Whilst working with us Lisa has experienced and enjoyed working closely with children with Autism. She also covers staff if they are absent due to illness or training, and supports when we need enhanced ratio’s to support children with additional needs, and is a valued member of our team.

Kelly Stevens

Early Years Assistant

Kelly currently works on Thursday mornings for us, but her hours are often flexible. She enjoys working with children. A mum of two past bunnies herself, she is up to date with current children’s interests, and has a fun, cheerful and caring character. Kelly has been with us since September 2019, she enjoys the variety each day brings and is a magnet for the children, providing fun whilst maintaining clear and consistent boundaries. Whilst working with us Kelly has been developing her understanding of theories and processes of child development, as well as the different daily aspects of the job.  Kelly at times covers staff if they are absent due to illness or training, and supports when we need enhanced ratio’s to support children with additional needs, and she is a valued member of our team.
